Description
We are Ubique Digital Solutions a Digital Agency on the Gold Coast in Australia. Aside from working with our clients on digital transformations we also help our clients find super star Staff members. One of our current clients now requires an Accounts Receivable/Assistant for a part time role (20hrs per week AEST Sydney). You will be based in the Philippines (Only) and have a great understanding of the Australian Tax rules including GST. Ideally you are or have worked with other Australian Companies or accounting firms. Your English will be exceptionally fluent with either an Australian/American accent. We will be assisting our client in their transition to a digital world including a move from MYOB to Xero.
The role will start with both data entry of Accounts Receivable but also then focus on calling customers to follow up on payments outstanding. So you will require a very good Fibre internet connection along with a back up and noise cancelling headset. Simple earphones will not be accepted.
Depending on your skills and ability this role could be expanded further to include more duties.
Key Requirements
- Fibre Internet Connection with back up connection

- Must be available between 9am to 4.30pm Sydney time
The skills we’re looking for
- Minimum of 3+ years accounting experience
- Degree in Accounting (CPA Qualified a bonus)
- Experience working in an accounting/bookkeeping firm an advantage
- Experience with Australian Accounting System
- Xero and MYOB
- HubSpot
- Office 365 – Excel, OneDrive and SharePoint
- Experience working in an Australian Accounting/Bookkeeping firm an advantage
- An aptitude for working with numbers
- A strategic mind
- Excellent organisational skills
- An eye for detail
- A strong sense of ethics
- Good communication skills are a must
Additional Information
- Start date: ASAP
- Employment type: Part-time (20 hours per week)
- Work Schedule: Based between 7:00 am – 3:30 pm MANILA TIME (30 min lunch break)
- The client is based in NSW, Australia
- Weekly pay-out via Hubstaff Payroll (TransferWise (Wise) and PayPal only)
